![]()
Willow Springs Picnic and Rock Art Area (Click here for Map)
The Willow Springs Picnic Area has several trails, including the Lost Creek - Children's Discovery Trail. Along with the trails, the area has archaeological sites which include pictographs, petroglyphs, and a roasting pit or two - all of which can be easily accessed. The trail to the "Petroglyph Wall" starts at the west end of the second parking area, and is fairly well marked with stones. The trail goes across the wash to the adjacent cliffs. See photos below.
The Children's Discovery Trail starts at the first parking area that you come to (See Lost Creek / Discovery Trail information page). The other trails and Handprints are at the second parking area.
The "Hand Prints" are located to the rear of the one group of picnic benches.

The "Roasting Pit is located adjacent to the "Hand Prints".

The Petroglyph Wall is located across the parking area from the picnic area.

The "Petroglyph Wall" trail starts at the far west end of the parking area.

The Petroglyphs and Pictographs are located behind the fence to the left and right of the sign.
