| The Cow Springs site is a small site located on the edge of a
dry wash, in the southern part of the Highland Range Mts northwest of
Searchlight, Nevada. The Cow Springs Petroglyph site - known by other names
- can be found on most topo maps. |
| This site is located about 7 miles west of Searchlight, Nevada,
and approximately 3.5 miles north of HWY 164 (aka Nipton Rd). |

| As with many other public petroglyph sites, this area is best navigated using topo maps, GPS, and/or a navigation system. |
These two boulders contain most of the rock art.
| On the map below the left arrow points to the turn off from the highway to the site. The red track which follows the road into the site takes a right turn followed by a left turn before you are on the main road leading to the site. It is approximately 3.5 miles from the highway to the site. The right arrow points to the site. |
